Nissan has just announced that the 2011 Nissan GT-R will carry a price tag of $84,060. This exclusive and legendary nissan best selling car will be available at only 700 Nissan dealers nationwide.

There aren’t too many changes to the 2011 Nissan GT-R compared with the previous model year. Perhaps one of the biggest changes is the elimination of the base model. Instead, Nissan will now only offer the Premium model as the only trim level available. Other more modest changes include double clear coat on the front and rear fascias, darker wheel center caps, and improvements to the rear cooling ducts.

The 2011 GT-R’s suspension has also been tweaked to improve on road comfort without sacrificing handling. With the removal of the base model, the GT-R will also now come standard with a number of features such as auto on/off headlights and speed-sensitive windshield wipers, a USB iPod interface, streaming audio via Bluetooth and DVD playback, and even XM NavTraffic and NavWeather capability via the navigation system.

Powering the 2011 Nissan GT-R is the same 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 that produces 485 horsepower and is mated to a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission. Among the few options available on the GT-R include the Cold Weather Package, the Ultra-High Performance Tire Package, and the GT-R logo floor mats. Boston bad credit auto loan specialists are quick to admit that at $84K the GT-R won’t be for everyone, but it still delivers solid performance compared to comparable sports cars.
